WiFi setup happens in the app, under WiFi Devices, not on the Display itself.Four things decide whether it joins:<ul><li style="font-size: 14px;">Use the 2.4 GHz band. The Display is 802.11 b/g/n and joins 2.4 GHz networks only. If your router broadcasts 2.4 and 5 GHz under one name, or is 5 GHz only, point the Display at the 2.4 GHz network specifically.</li><li style="font-size: 14px;">Network type. Open, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 Personal all work. Networks with a sign-in page, like hotel, campus, or guest WiFi, are not supported.</li><li style="font-size: 14px;">Plain network names. An SSID with emoji or accented characters can stop the Display from joining. Choose Other in the network list to type it manually if needed.</li><li style="font-size: 14px;">On a mesh system (Orbi, eero, Google Nest), the Display&apos;s low-power WiFi chip locks onto one access point when it powers on and does not hop between nodes.
