We ship within the USA and its territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam and the US Virgin Islands, and to Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, and every EU and EEA member state.

What you pay at checkout

Shipping cost depends on your order and where it is going, and it is calculated at checkout.

Almost everywhere, duties are prepaid. Outside the USA, we ship Delivered Duties Paid (DDP), which means taxes, duties, and import fees are all calculated and paid when you check out. Customs should not hold your order or send you a bill.

Sales tax inside the USA is calculated and collected at checkout as normal.

Iceland is the exception

Iceland ships DDU (delivery duty unpaid), so you may be charged taxes when the parcel arrives rather than paying them up front. Whether that works out to more than other EEA countries pay is hard to say; probably not, but possibly.

Why international shipping costs what it does

International orders go through Passport, a shipping partner who handles duties, VAT, and the customs paperwork for us. That is what makes DDP possible, and it is why you are not left arguing with customs at your own door.

It also costs money, and on a small order those fees are noticeable. We know. If a quote looks wrong for where you are, tell us, and we will check it.
