MeatNet Cloud: Monitor ongoing cooks from anywhereUpdated 4 months ago

Great news for cooks who like to wander! You can now extend your MeatNet™ coverage to any place with internet.

Are you off to Burma or just a daylight basement on the other side of your house? The brisket doesn’t need to know.

What you’ll need for remote viewing:

  1. Combustion Predictive Thermometer (CPT): 1st or 2nd Gen
  2. Combustion/MeatNet™ Cloud account (see below)
  3. Combustion WiFi tool (WiFi Booster, WiFi Display, Giant Grill Gauge)
    ~OR~
A “spare” internet-connected mobile device and the Combustion App (“home”) to upload data. You can use a second phone, tablet, or Mac computer (with M1 chip or newer)
  4. Your main internet-connected mobile device (i.e. your phone, probably) with the Combustion App to view your cook (“away”)

What you’ll get when remote viewing

  • Current temps at all 8 sensors (advanced mode)
  • TrueCore®
  • TrueSurface™
  • TrueAmbient™
  • Target temp (cooking to)
  • SafeCook status
  • “Ready in” time-to-cook prediction
  • Time elapsed
  • Graphs
  • Notifications
  • Export cook data (CSV)

For cooking control (setting target temp/SafeCook/etc), use your mobile device within Bluetooth range.
