Do you have a warehouse/store in EU?Updated 8 months ago
EU warehousing doesn't reduce costs as much as one might expect:
In the US, sales tax isn't included in advertised prices, unlike VAT in the UK and EU. For a fair comparison, one should add about 6.5% (average US sales tax) to our US prices.
The shipping cost for international orders incorporates VAT (20-25% of the product price) plus actual shipping (typically around $15 for most European countries). Local warehousing would reduce shipping somewhat, but VAT would still apply. Unfortunately, prices increase significantly due to VAT regardless of warehousing location.
The current exchange rate between the US dollar and Euro also impacts pricing for European customers.
Establishing operations in Europe involves numerous challenges, including EU tax filings, legal compliance, customer support, translations, and participation in required programs like electronic waste recycling. At our current scale, managing these requirements isn't feasible.
We look forward to expanding our operations in the future when our business reaches the appropriate scale. We appreciate your understanding and continued interest in our products.
