The Combustion Display acts as a range extender and a visual hub for your cook. With each firmware update, we add support for new hardware, boost reliability, and fix bugs. Here's a complete version history of Display firmware updates.

August 2026 (v2.6.0)
- Thermometers are now sorted and numbered on the Display by the ID you gave them in the app instead of the order they connected, and the Display handles two thermometers that share an ID.
- New MeatNet device linking system. Existing links are migrated automatically, duplicates are cleaned up, and linked devices now sync across the network. There is still no on-screen feedback while linking happens.
- Higher Bluetooth transmit power, for better MeatNet range and steadier connections between repeating devices.
- While plugged into power, data now uploads to the Combustion Cloud every 5 seconds.
- Improved WiFi reliability.
- Miscellaneous fixes and improvements.
- Arrives with Combustion app v3.3.0 (iOS) or v3.3.8 (Android) or newer.

- Fixed issue with āphantomā thermometers with no data showing up on the Display in some circumstances
- Fixed issues with dropped messages occurring in with certain connection schemes between Repeater nodes (that led to things like set points timing out and log messages not downloading)
