CPT not charging?Updated a month ago

A helpful tip that might get your thermometer charging again: A little TLC for that metal contact on the bottom.

Don't worry if it looks clean – sometimes there's an invisible layer of cooking oil that builds up over time.

Here's what you can do:

  1. Grab some steel wool (don't worry, it won't hurt the thermometer).
  2. Give that metal contact a good, gentle scrub.
  3. Plug it in and let it charge for about 25 minutes.

With any luck, you'll see the light change from a steady red or amber to a cheerful green!

It's a simple fix that often does the trick!
