Combustion AppUpdated a month ago
Even if you don’t plan to cook using an app, you’ll need it to update your firmware (it’s bone-simple to do so, we promise).
The app shows you temperatures in and around your food and lets you know when your food will be done.
The apps also unlock an important feature of the Combustion Display (or Booster): the Range Extender. When using the display + app, total signal strength is best-in-class.
Each tool has a functional max range of 100m (330ft). In ideal conditions with a Display, Booster, and App, you could have a range close to 1000ft.
In non-ideal conditions, it's plenty strong for almost any set-up.
If that's not enough, you can use MeatNet™ Cloud to extend your range as far as the internet reaches.
You'll need to create an account in the app, to connect remotely and label your cook data (for later use by you!).
With this cloud sync service, you'll need 2 "instances" of the app running - one to bridge data from the BlueTooth network to the cloud, and the other to view it.
More details here.
We intentionally kept the app very streamlined. It won’t push ads or recipes or other content at you.
No fluff.
