Charging / Battery Life: BoosterUpdated 4 days ago

Know your Booster's charging and battery behaviour with the table below. Which Booster you have matters, so check both columns.

1st-generation Booster
WiFi Booster
Keeps a thermometer ready (unplugged, thermometer inside)
Up to 181 days
Up to 285 days
Full thermometer recharges from one Booster charge
Up to 8
Up to 16
Actively connected and repeating
72 hours
54 hours (over WiFi)

A full Booster charge takes about 60 minutes. A WiFi Booster refills an empty thermometer in about 20 minutes.

Not sure which you have? Look for a yellow WiFi sticker: that is a WiFi Booster. No sticker, but the light is a button, means a 1st-generation Booster. A much smaller light that is not a button is the standard charging cradle, which has no battery of its own. See WiFi Booster for the full comparison.

Still have a question?

If your Booster is not lasting anywhere near these figures, email [email protected] and tell us which Booster you have and whether WiFi is on. WiFi Booster: Troubleshooting Guide covers a Booster that drains too fast.
